If your boat is longer than 7 meters, there is usually more time needed to winterize the boat. That's why from 7 meters we charge our hourly rate (€55,-) plus equipment costs (antifreeze).
To give you an indication in most cases the price will be around €70,--.
- ✔ Completely free the motor from outboard water (this means shut off the water supply and open the cooling water filter).
- ✔ Flush the motor and the cooling water filter with antifreeze (switch on the motor and let it pour antifreeze quietly into the cooling water filter). We catch the antifreeze coming out of the exhaust as it is bad for the environment.
- ✔ Finally, we close the valve and open and close the ball once so that antifreeze comes in here as well.
